he had grenades, an earthquake ( thunder drop ) regular bolts, shockwaves, rockets, everything. i havent finished infamous 2, but i know that cole has just developed different powers and fights differently than kessler. thats why he was able to win ( for example i never once saw kessler summon a thunderstorm or whirlwind ).

Doesn't the Dead Drops say Kessler disappeared from the First Sons for several years? I guess Kessler didn't spend his whole time with them. Like: 1. Kessler go in the time Alden is a baby and help build the Ray Sphere sooner. 2. Once the Ray Sphere completed and Cole is not born yet, he warp throught time when Cole is in his 20-30 years. 3.

In Kessler's timeline the Ray Sphere was created by the First Sons. It was presumably activated by "The Beast." This is how Kessler received his powers (just as the Conduits Cole battles received their powers when Cole activated the Ray Sphere). In Cole's timeline the Ray Sphere was created by the First Sons.
