2016年6月8日 · The Kawasaki Ki-61 Hien ("flying swallow") is a Japanese World War II fighter aircraft used by the Imperial Japanese Army Air Force. The Ki-61 looked so different to the usual radial-engine Japanese fighters that the Allies at first believed it to be of German or Italian origin, possibly a license-built Messerschmitt Bf 109.

2024年11月9日 · Ki-61-ko 3.3 to 3.7 with late belt // Kinda dubious but 2210kg empty weight from historical documents, 2377kg in-game with armaments included. It’s the highest performing Ki-61 even including ki-61-ii. As long as you forget about the firepower, it has better aerodynamics and power-to-weight ratio than any other ki-61 variants.

2024年4月2日 · Ki-61-I kaid with 30 guns, Ki-61-IIb with four 20mm guns and Ki-61-I-wces. Ki-61-I Tei Kai would be even more overtiered than the regular Hei and Tei. Would be interesting but ultimately not a great addition, the Ki-61s don’t struggle with firepower. Ki-61-II Otsu - same as above. Its issue isn’t firepower, its climb rate and weight.
Don Smith KI-61 Hien Tony - RC Groups
2020年4月28日 · The Ki-61 has a rather long and skinny wing, the result being that a model of it is really not as large in volume as it's wing span would initially indicate. Case in point, back when it was first introduced it was not uncommon to see the Don Smith design adequately flown on an OS 1.08 two stroke.

According to the source the picture might be taken in China after the war, what the source said: This Ki-61 photo was more likely taken in CHINA after the war. Below is one ...
