Used as oe in europe and in some other regions. Are the worst that i had in my car. After 50.000km the tips where very worn. The gap was more or less doubled! NGK BRK5ES-11.

GAP 1.0-1.1 mm 0.028-0.032 in. TYPE BKRES=11 NGK RC8YC4 CHAMPION However, most people on this forum have indicated it is best to use NGK and set the gap to closest setting.

2009年2月4日 · Recently, I replaced the spark plugs on my 2002 sportage and noticed that the ones they put at the dealership @ 44,000 miles, were not the ones that the manual calls for (NGK BKR5E-11), so I put the ones the owner's manual recomends (NGK BKR6E-11).Also in the manual, the recommended gap is from .039-.043.

2009年3月12日 · On some of the other Kia models that use the waste spark one coil fires two plugs, the gap is listed as 0.040" in some literature, but the best advised gap is actually 0.028 ~ 0.030". The greater the gap the more vulnerable the coil and HT leads are to breakdown. Why not give the above suggested gap a try - no risk of damage.
