2018年5月19日 · I was really trying to avoid adding an amp and a powered sub. I was hoping a new head unit with more watts per channel and a powered sub would be enough to get some noticeable improvements. What about a KMC5 instead of the KMC4? Is the 5 worth the additional $200? Side note - a lot of this stuff is listed as out of stock on Kicker's website.

2019年7月10日 · My kicker (same setup) is junk too. Works sporadically.. the volume is a joke.. barely any volume until I return to 45 and above. I called Kicker directly and they said they don't even make these units. A off label company does (VPS?) and they just slap their name on it. Very unreliable unit even according to kicker tech support.

2019年7月23日 · Is anyone else having problems with their kicker stereo? As soon as you put power to the stereo head mine comes up with a warning screen that remains on. I am unable to do anything with the buttons or knobs. Anybody have any recommendations?

2020年9月23日 · I think you will be fine with the Kicker head unit (KMC45 now?) The basic Kicker speaker upgrade doesn’t appear to be much more money, and would be worth it. I find even my kicker speakers a bit inadequate from time to time, so I certainly would not want to have less.

2021年1月10日 · While we didn't have a chance to run the motor or deploy the dual biminis, the marina was kind enough to run power to the boat so we could check out the radio, depth sounder, LED lights, nav lights, and docking lights (super bright!). By the way, the standard Kicker KMC45 is a great head unit.
