It’s simple, Kiev-2 is a complete analogy of the German Contax-2. Complete so much that many key components of the apparatus are interchangeable.

Soviet KIEV-2 rangefinder with Jupiter-8 2/50. MADE IN USSR! Fully functional Kiev-2 (s/n Kiev-2 557402) with early Jupiter-8 50mm f/2 lens (s/n 5513094). Excellent condition camera! Very minor signs of normal use on the body, excellent camera. Lens is very good too, might have a few dust particles/wipe marks, but nothing to affect image quality.
