The KIV-77 Mode 4/5 crypto applique computers for Identification Friend or Foe (IFF) equipment will provide the warfighter with the latest technology in secure air, land and surface combat-identification capability.

Its innovative multi-channel design allows KIV-7M users to replace two key legacy devices with one KIV-7M, thus recovering valuable space in fixed shelter environments and reducing weight for mobile applications. Each channel is independently configurable and able to operate in full duplex mode at 50Mbps in each direction.

This U.S. Air Force award brings Raytheon's orders for the KIV-77 to more than 3,600 units, including the program's low rate initial production phase under which approximately 1,000 KIV-77 units were delivered ahead of contract schedule.
