In May 2023, KKOOM hosted its very first event in the United States out of our 15-year existence. It was the Dream Big Gala to bring more awareness about our mission and to start building community in Atlanta as there is a big Korean population in Atlanta, Georgia.

Korean Kids and Orphanage Outreach Mission (“KKOOM”, pronounced “koom”) is a 501(c)(3) charity that provides access to education for Korean youth, such as funding for preschool and college scholarships.

2023年12月24日 · For KKOOM, our goal for the Dream Big Gala was different – we want to tell the greater Korean community in Atlanta about who we are and what we do. With a virtual board who live all across the United States and South Korea, it was a hard task to accomplish.

At the end of 2023, KKOOM looks back on one of its largest years of financial support and growth. Through events like KKOOM’s first-ever gala, generous donor support, to the securing of large grants to help support future program development, KKOOM also sponsored many events, activities, and scholarships.

In order to maximize donations to KKOOM and reduce additional fees, we’re using a direct donation model for ticket purchases.

2023年5月20日 · Dream Big Gala! So happy to be here! KKOOM (Korean Kids and Orphanage Outreach Mission) provides funding for children in the Korean Welfare System. Donations are used to provide college scholarships as the children age out of the system, the opportunity for children to attend preschool, fun activities, holiday events, and much more.
