Interesting proposition I guess, maybe the price of RC's and other shooters will go down if these can make it into the US. $10 says they are scrubbed and refinished parts with a new stock. I agree. Seems odd it has a milled rear band and stamped front?

2023年1月20日 · Don't know if any of you have seen but the Ballistically Speaking Podcast interviewed Kodiak Defence at ShotShow and KD are importing a Serbian (Zastava?) made K98K clone. Not gonna lie I'm excited about the possibility of running some Bolt Action Brutality matches with newly made guns that don't need babying because they're historic.

2023年4月22日 · I'm not saying they're cheaply made, but it's somewhat telling that a new Mauser 98 made in the Oberndorf plant costs over 11 000 Euros. Even a Zastava, which couldn't even laughably be called a paragon of quality, is around the 1k mark. You'll never buy one new for the quality of a used k98 even at market prices.

2024年1月9日 · Anyone got any recent news for the Kodiak Defence K98? I also got some questions about it. Is it based off of a K98 captured by Yugoslav partisans or just an early variant (if such thing exists) of the M48? What bayonet, sling and ammo pouches should I get? Yugo or german to correspond with the rifle?

2023年2月19日 · I have a few Kimber rifles built on K98 actions. There are others that have used the 98 actions also. I dont think I will buy a new production one unless it was from a German Arsenal or a small ring made Swede.
