Minamoto Kou (源光, Minamoto Kou?) is a student at Kamome Academy's Middle School Division and a member of a renowned family of exorcists, the Minamoto Clan. He is also the younger brother of Teru and the older brother of Tiara.

On November 9, 2023, towards the end of the After-Halloween Party Livesteam, Megumi Ogata (Hanako and Tsukasa), Akari Kito (Nene), Shoya Chiba (Kou), and Shunichi Toki (Akane) unveiled a surprise announcement that Toilet-Bound Hanako-kun has been renewed for Season 2.

Mitsukou is the slash ship between Mitsuba Sousuke and Minamoto Kou from the Toilet-bound Hanako-kun fandom. Kou and Sousuke in junior high. Prior to the story, Sousuke and Kou were former friends and classmates in junior high. They weren't best friends, per se, but due to sitting in name order, Sousuke sat in front of Kou.

Let’s rewind to Mitsuba’s introduction in Hell of Mirrors: Kou leaped at the idea that Sousuke was back. Even after Tsukasa told him this isn’t the same person he used to know, merely an "artificial ghost with part of Sousuke's soul", Kou subconsciously rejected the idea.
