The Kurnass (Heavy Hammer) is the Israeli variant of the F-4 Phantom. After the Six-Day War and other political situations, the US sent F-4 Phantoms to Israel under the authorization of President John F. Kennedy and then Lyndon Johnson.

The F-4E was known as Kurnass (Heavy Hammer) in Israeli service while the RF-4E was called Orev (Raven). Introduced in Update "Sky Guardians", the Kurnass 2000 is an Israeli upgrade of the venerable F-4E Phantom II. It looks and flies almost identically to the standard F-4E, however its air-to-air armament is now drastically improved and rounded out by the all-aspect AIM-9L Sidewinder and Python 3 for closer engagements.

The Kurnas was powered by two Pratt & Whitney PW1120 turbofans developed for the IAI Lavi. The powerplant endowing the Kurnas with a 17% better combat thrust-to-weight ratio, 36% improved climb rate, and a 15% improved sustained turn rate than the F-4E.
