Meaning the semi auto setting, as opposed to the single shot mode. Pulling bolt handle out or pressing it in switches from one to other.

2024年12月31日 · Good price with the vintage scope. Here is maybe the rarest one, the 87M, sort of a Garand look-a-like. I prefer to be called a Collector because it sounds a lot nicer then a Hoarder. Wow. When I look at that, I see hints not only of Garand but also; G43, P14/M1917 and Reising. A feast for the eyes, that one. I am not a jelly donut.... du bist!!

Classic Springfield J. Stevens Model 87a 22LR plinker, also known as the gill gun. Shoots 22LR semi auto, 22 Long & 22 short single shot. Tube magazine. Holds 14 or 15 rounds. Not sure of the exact manufacture date, but these were produced by J.Stevens with the Springfield trade name only up to 1948. Mechanically sound.

2022年12月17日 · They are unique semi-auto rifles. The bolt doesn't return to battery until you release the trigger. The trigger assembly actually captures the bolt, or at least it should if it's working right. When I first shot mine it didn't capture the bolt and went full-auto. I couldn't figure out how to fix it other than to replace the whole trigger assembly.
