I think the L96 is an interesting weapon. Unlike other military weapons compared to the craftable variants, the L96 provides the exact same damage the bolt has. The only advantage, is an almost doubled velocity which makes shots easier to hit at a distance.

2019年2月3日 · L96 is 100% an upgrade to the bolt which I think is a terrible idea. The bolt action is already really strong and it takes skill to learn the drop and prediction. The l96 has about a quarter the drop of a bolt, super fast bullet load time and an even more insane reload time. It definitely needs to be tweaked if not removed

2018年12月4日 · The bolty's higher fire rate is nice but nothing can compare to the L96's bullet velocity. It might as well be hit scan at the speed it moves and because of it's high velocity there is next to no drop unless you are shooting at the limit of your view range. L96 is just too good because of this, it takes nearly no skill to use the L96 effectively.

2020年6月9日 · Bolt for PVP, L96 for everything else. The bolt is just faster to draw and faster between bullets. It does have a longer reload time though. L96 does more dmg and has virtually no bullet drop so it's better when time isn't of the essence. I love the L96 for rig/excavator/etc or any place where sniping scientists is involved.

2019年1月5日 · Now for the main part: the L96. I won't be saying Rust is a broken game and only hate on the devs, but instead provide an actual argument for the removal of the L96 from the Bandit Camp shops (crazy, ikr). The L96 has almost no drop (unlike the bolty) and is crazy at damage dealing. This only for 700 scrap.
