The Lyndon B. Johnson Space Center (JSC) is NASA 's center for human spaceflight in Houston, Texas (originally named the Manned Spacecraft Center), where human spaceflight training, research, and flight control are conducted.

In honor of the late President Lyndon B. Johnson, MSC became the Johnson Space Center in 1973 and continues today to direct NASA's efforts in human space exploration. The History Office shares and preserves the rich heritage of NASA's Houston Center through various avenues.
