The LG 27GN850-B is a just-released update to the LG 27GL850-B. From what info I could find they are identical except the GN850 does not have a USB hub and is $50 cheaper. The LG 27GL83A-B has the same panel except it uses an sRGB color gamut backlight. The GN850 and the GL850 use a different backlight that covers a wide DCI-P3 gamut.

LG’s 27GN850-B is the 2020 “upgrade” of the 27GL850 (same panel, new stand, no USB Hub). I believe this monitor is a Best Buy exclusive in the US, as I haven’t found it available anywhere else, but I could be wrong.

2020年7月21日 · First, to clear something up regarding the model numbers, this comparison is between the LG 27GL83A-B and the LG 27GN850-B, not to be confused with the 27GL850-B which was the 2019 model. The GN differs from the GL in that it does not have USB ports like the GL. As far as I know, this, and the lower price, are the only differences.

2021年1月27日 · After it being brought to my attention by u/Glad-Neighborhood123, this is fact DOES NOT use the same panel as the LG 27GL83A-B. After checking both on displayspecification as well as on my unit, It uses a BOE MV270QHM-NF1. This is not the same LG panel as the LG 27GL83A-B.

And then there are the newer back panels with "UG" logo on the back which should be able to get the latest firmware.. and then on top of that, there are the one in between, with the new "UG" plastics but with the same old LG with internals which only stops at 3.18 as well. 2020年10月18日 · The Monitor we are talking about is a 1440p144hz display. "The Tech Clap" confirmed on one of his videos that you can run 1440p 120hz on the Xbox Series X using HDMI 2.0. The Issue is, he recommends the LG 27GL850-B but did not tell how it runs. :/ cant get a response from him.

2022年9月9日 · I recenlty got a LG 27" 27GN800-B monitor, from what I saw it was really good. Then, today I saw that LG 27" 27GN850-B exists and is like 80£ more expensive. From what I can find, the biggest difference is the nanoips feature, would it be worth the hassle of returning my monitor for the 850? Thanks for any help.
