So although I now still have 3 monitors, the LG 34" ultrawide using their OnScreen Control PC application where I can split the screens in several ways, I end up with 4 screens in essence. I'm a sales guy online & on phone all day so the 4 screens help to bounce around to different apps and internet pages without having to Alt-Tab to move back ...

The new 34WL500-B is one of LG's new 34" Freesync monitors available at Best Buy. It is a 21:9 Ultrawide (2560 x 1080) 1080p IPS monitor with HDR. The LG official site states that this product is on the low end of 34" monitors that LG makes, so the price point is lower than the other models.

Customers are impressed with the large screen, multitasking capabilities, and ultrawide display of the 34WL500-B monitor. They find it to be a great value for the price and appreciate its easy setup. However, some customers have expressed disappointment with the 1080p resolution, lack of speakers, and non-adjustable stand.

Purchased the monitor in May 2021. In September 2022, the monitor is failing. I find it ironic that the very day it started failing (today) is the day I receive a mailing from LG to inform me that my warranty has ended but it's not too late to buy an LG Premium Plan to protect my investment. At this point, I would not recommend buying this monitor.

LG - 34WL500-B 34" IPS LED UltraWide FHD is an incredible display! Not only does it offer quite a bit of screen, the monitor features 1080P Full HD with HDR. Forget alt-tab, you can split screen for viewing side-by-side. Its like having 2 or 3 monitors on your desk.

The LG 34WL500-B 34 Inch 21:9 UltraWide™ 1080p Full HD IPS Monitor with HDR has 2 x HDMI ports on it so you can connect two computers to it via its HDMI ports, however, it does not support Picture-by-Picture (PBP) which is a function that splits the screen in two so you can view two external video inputs simultaneously on the monitor.
