5 天之前 · Is it that LIRR neglected to have the GP's equipped with HEP, or was it flat out putting freight locomotives to the task of hauling passengers? A total of 29 of the GP38-2s were built with high short hoods containing steam generators for use on Mexican railroads. The Gp-38's on the lirr did not have generators for hotel power.
