While packages are available for many Linux distros, the AppImage provided at lmms.io/download is the preferred installation method. As of LMMS 1.3.0-alpha, 32-bit (x86) builds of the software are no longer released, and its support has been deprecated.

2019年8月23日 · LMMS is my only DAW, I started 6 years ago and today I can produce Bigroom like I could in any other DAW, and even got the support of EZUMI on YouTube in his TOP 10 Bigroom drops. ("T0NIT0 RMX - After Vibes" for people interested to see how it sounds)

However, LMMS is the only DAW I've seen where Audacity or sampler VST is required for any sampling. However, LMMS is good enough for the price of free, that having to use Audacity really isn't a deal breaker for me. Plus the synths that come with LMMS are very good for chiptune.
