Extended Opportunity Programs & Services (EOPS) is a state-funded retention and support program designed to facilitate the success of students that have experienced economic and educational hardships. EOPS is driven by a philosophy of providing services that are "over and above, and in addition to" services available to all students.
EOPS CARE CAFYES Eligibility - LACC
To be eligible for EOPS, a student must meet all six (6) of the eligibility criteria: Be a California resident (or AB 540 eligible). Application Process - LACC
EOPS will automatically send a link to the EOPS application web form to students who are eligible for the California College Promise Grant Fee Waiver (formerly the BOG Fee Waiver). Application processing usually takes 1-2 business days. During the beginning of each term, processing can take up to 7 business days, so please plan accordingly.
