2021年4月22日 · Law 101: Fundamentals of Law, New York and Federal Law is an attempt to provide basic legal concepts of the law to undergraduates in easily understood plain English. Each chapter covers a different area of the law. Areas of law were selected based on what legal matters undergraduates may typically encounter in their daily lives.

There are two basic court systems in our country — federal and state. The federal court system has its own set of laws and courts, and each state also has its own unique set of laws and courts. Like your law school and the school of arts and sciences, both federal and state legal systems operate simul-taneously and pretty much independently.
