A version of the Leica IIIc without slow-speed dial, top shutter speed of 1/1000th second and accessory shoe. About 10,999 units were made from 1948 to 1951 with vulcanite covering. The shark skin covering was available for a short time in 1948.

2023年12月1日 · The Leica IIIc is a 35mm rangefinder camera introduced by Leica in 1940. It was made of aluminum, with chrome-plated brass top plate, base plate and knobs. Some had grey paint finish due to the lack of chrome during the war. The Leica IIIc was built from 1940 to 1951 (serial numbers 360,101-525,001), with approx. 131,000 units produced.

The Leica IIc camera, basically a Leica IIIc, the IIc has no slow shutter speeds, the slow speed location on the front of the camera being covered by a circular steel plate finished in vulcanite. As with the post-war IIIc's there is no step under the rewind knob control lever and the accessory shoe is fitted by a blade and two screws.

2015年5月2日 · Compared with a camera noted for its modest dimensions, the Olympus XA line, the Leica IIIc is about an inch longer and fractionally taller – that’s it. With a collapsible lens mounted, the IIIc fits into a pocket just as easily as an XA. While you may not find the size an issue, the weight is a different story.
