2021年1月1日 · The biggest issue is the sheer fact that the leopard has more opportunity to penetrate the m1a2 due to DM53. The leopard 2a6 can penetrate m1a2 and m1a1 turret cheeks at slight angles, specifically anything past 32 degrees. Meaning unless the m1a2 is looking straight at a leo 2a6, you can most likely kill it through turret cheeks thanks to DM53.

2021年3月31日 · The Leopard 2A6 has the L/55 gun, which means it has better penetration with DM33 compared to the Leopard 2A5, and it also has access to DM53, the highest penetrating tank round in the game. I'd still play the Leopard 2A5, it's easily on par or better than the T-80U, Leclerc, or M1A2, so it's not like you'll be at a major disadvantage using it.

2021年3月6日 · the turret cheeks are a no go. Shoot down the barrel or go for the ufp. The ufp has almost no armor. m1a1 and m1a2 can pen them easily. If that doesnt work for you the lower plate is a good try. I dont believe the russian mbts can pen the ufp but they can pen the lower plate. The leo 2a5 and 2a6 are the same so this will work for both.

Even worse, the swedish get a leo 2 copy which is a straight upgrade and also our top tier tank. Currently there is 0 reason to grind germany for top tier when sweden has all our good stuff lmao. Reply reply More replies More replies

Also the 2A6 had no different armor array package from the 2A5, there were differences in packages for the 2A4 though but that stopped. Later 2A6s did get different packages but they didn’t lean more for protection against KE, they overall did increase KE protection but they were mostly-exclusively for HEAT threats.
