LIHI is one of the largest providers of tiny house village shelters in the nation. The Low Income Housing Institute develops, owns and operates housing for the benefit of low-income, homeless and formerly homeless people in Washington State.

LIHI develops, owns and operates housing for the benefit of low-income, homeless and formerly homeless people in Washington State; advocates for just housing policies at the local and national levels; and administers a range of supportive service programs to assist those we serve in maintaining stable housing.

You can view all of our rentals and apply to ones with vacancies. Some of the properties have waiting lists. Waiting list units are all rentals where rent is 30% of your household’s monthly income.

LIHI programs serve homeless and low-income people in Snohomish, King, Island, Kitsap, Pierce and Thurston Counties. LIHI housing serves communities in Seattle, Lynnwood, Lacey, Olympia, Tacoma, Bremerton, and smaller towns throughout the region.

Low-Income Housing offered by LIHI (Low Income Housing Institute) Develops and manages permanent low-cost housing throughout the Puget Sound region, in King, Snohomish, Pierce, Thurston, Kitsap and Island counties.

All housing applications for LIHI properties are handled by the staff at the individual properties, and all inquiries should be made to them. There is no centralized list or application process.
