Liu Yuxi (Wade-Giles: Liu Yü-hsi; Chinese: 劉禹錫; pinyin: Liú Yǔxī, Liú Yǔxí; 772–842) was a Chinese essayist, philosopher, and poet active during the Tang dynasty. [1] His ancestors were Xiongnu nomadic people.

2013年2月25日 · Liu Yuxi came from from Luoyang city, Henan Province. He was an official who passed the highest imperial examinations when he was twenty and he worked alongside the poet Liu Zongyuan. Later, he was demoted for political reasons and sent to work for nine years in a minor position in Langzhou in Hunan Province.
