Loki's true form. Loki Laufeyson is a fictional character in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. He is played by Tom Hiddleston. Loki was born as a Jotunn, also known as a Frost Giant, in Jotunheim, but since his size was anything but of a giant, he was abandoned by his father, Laufey.

When Loki learned the truth about his real father, he made a plan to force Odin to banish Thor so he could become next in line to the throne.
