The LUSU Food Resource Centre aims to break down the stigma which surrounds accessing food resources on university campuses and create a welcoming environment for students. The Main objective of the FRC is to eliminate student hunger at Lakehead University.

2025年1月14日 · The LUSU Food Resource Centre will be offering $5.00 off coupons for students experiencing food insecurity. Students can stop by the LUSU Food Resource Centre (Room UC 2014b) on the Monday prior and from 10:30am-1:00pm on Market days to pick up their coupons.

The Student Food Advisory Council is a group made up of students from Lakehead who are passionate about student food security. As a group, we advocate on behalf of students to address student food insecurity on our campus. We are a LUSU Student club and a sub-group (or working group) of the Food Security Committee.

The aim of the Centre is to break down the stigma that surrounds accessing emergency food resources on campus by creating a welcoming environment for students. We provide emergency food support, educational workshops, free campus meals, and food programming while continuously advocate for campus food security.
