The M35 started as a 1949 M34 REO Motor Car Company design for a 2½-ton 6×6 off-road truck. This original 6-wheel M34 version with a single wheel tandem was quickly superseded by the 10-wheel M35 design with a dual tandem. The basic M35 cargo truck is rated to carry 5,000 pounds (2,300 kg) off-road or 10,000 pounds (4,500 kg) on roads.

The M35 was designed by Reo based on the standard 2-1/2 ton tactical cargo truck. The final result was an improvement over the WW2 design, more capable, but still simple and reliable. Powered by a REO Continental OA331 6-cylinder gasoline engine with 127hp and either a 4 or 5 speed transmission. The M36 cargo hauler is the same build as M35 except the cargo bed is 16ft (4.8m) long instead of 8ft. (2.4m). The first upgrade to the M35 is the A1.

2023年5月25日 · It might depend on what parts you are looking for. My father already sourced some replacement parts years ago, but I may need to source more. The body is the same as a 36's Graham, so some parts might be interchangeable. Also, REO continued to make trucks after '36 and made the Mack Jr truck for Mack, so some of the parts might be interchangeable.
