I shoot a mostly lead bullets in practice and find that 7 and "Chore Boy" brass cleaning pads (available at your local supermarket) make short work of the lead residue, even in my Glocks. I use the high priced cleaners for the bore only and carb or brake cleaner for the rest of the gun. Why waste money?
