2016年4月8日 · Well since the M.2-E does have 2 PCIe lanes it is possible to put there a PCIe based SSD. You just have to find an M.2-E SSD :) Most M.2 SSDs you can find on the market use M.2-M or M.2-B. Either the SATA lane directly or the PCIe lanes. A quick google doesn't really show any M.2-E SSDs so you might be out of luck.

It will fit in the slot, but pin-outs are different and carrier adapter is supposed to read both wifi and Bluetooth data when populated... does A/E mean it will be seen in an A or E or A/E slot or only an A/E slot?

Depending on the design, an M.2 may support both the CNVi and standard M.2 Key-E wireless modules. You will need to verify with Lenovo* if your system is designed to support both the CNVi and generic M.2 Key-E modules.

However, this is what it says in the description: Compatibility: Only for use on Intel Windows 10 64-bit machines, that are not currently on a BiOS lock, and do not contain an Intel 9560 CNVI part.
