The vehicles fitted with the DVH are referred to as the M1255 CVV and the vehicles with added enhancements as outlined in the Engineering Proposal Change (ECP), the M1255 CVV-A1. Models with the double V-hull upgrade are known as the M1255 CVV. The CV provides an operational platform for elements of command within the Stryker brigade combat team (SBCT). The CV integrates the C4ISR equipment for the unit commanders.
