The M15 half-track, officially designated M15 Combination Gun Motor Carriage, was a self-propelled anti-aircraft gun on a half-track chassis used by the United States Army during World War II. It was equipped with one 37 millimeter (1.5 in) M1 autocannon and two water-cooled .50 caliber (12.7 mm) M2 Browning heavy machine guns.

The Carro Armato M15/42 was the last Italian medium tank produced during World War II. It was based on the earlier M13/40 and M14/41 medium tanks, and was built with the lessons from the North African Campaign in mind.

It was based on the Carro Armato M13/40 and Carro Armato M14/41, featuring a more reliable engine for desert combat and an improved gun. A total of 118 M14/42's were build, of which 28 were build by Germany after Italy surrendered in 1943.

2021年2月26日 · The M15A1 was a modification of the original M15 accommodating the new M26 Pershing tanks being sent to Europe at the end of World War II. Following the war, the M15A1 would be strengthened again, increasing capacity to 50 tons. Complete phase-out of the M15 would not take place until the 1970s with the adoption of the M747 semitrailer.
