2006年7月14日 · The old Thompsons & BARs that were used by the British were usually marked on the receiver, barrel, and bolt. Barrels in particular usually have quite a bit of markings on them with caliber, chamber dimensions, & a number followed by "tons" Post some pics of what you find if possible. Never seen an AR15/M16 with British proofs before.

But Bill Ricca set the record straight. The XM3 bipod case was specifically designed for the M3 bipod for the AR15/M16/M16A1 rifle.

AR15 Sport for a teardrop forward assist and A1 pistol grip. Amherst Gun parts was the only place I found all the A1 type rear sight parts.
