It seems strange to me that, with its current stats and mechanics, the M39 is not purchasable from Bandit Camp, while the best gun next to the M249, the L96, can be purchased with scrap. Even with the increased price of the L96, I see far more of them in bases I raid than I see the M39. For how rare it is, the gun is currently lacking something.

IMO Damage - M39 should split difference between bolty and AK. Aim cone/recoil should be less than AK for better accuracy and follow up shots at distance. Scopes - limiting use of 8x on AK could help reduce its long range capabilities and is a reason to consider adding a 2/3/4x scope of some kind to the game.

2021年3月5日 · M39 is better, but sar is cheaper, easier to get, and not much worse. Also not to mention that I'd take a thompson mp5 or custom over either one any day. As a bonus, I've found that by the time I have enough guns where I'm really choosing loadouts, and not just running what's in my base, I can run ak. And ak outclasses m39 no matter what.

2019年4月20日 · In it's current state the M39 is a slightly beefier, slower SAR. The weapon is a DMR, meaning it should fill the niche between the AK and the Bolt Action. In almost every situation the AK is the superior weapon to this gun. You can tap an AK, you can full auto an AK.

2024年1月29日 · The problem is that M39 is buyable and a pretty common drop. And unlike other buyable weapons like LR and M9 pistol, the M39 rifle is actually good, having same damage as AK, 20 round mag and one of the fastest bullet speeds in the game. M39 is a better silenced weapon than AK or M249 for longer ranges due to high damage and better bullet speed.

2022年4月2日 · Tier 3: The m39 needs to be craftablle. Mp5 needs to be a noticeably better option than the thompson. AK on this tree as it already is. Reduce the AK and Thompsons accuracy at range and allow the Sar and m39 to become more viable at range, while still getting full usability of the spray mechanics for in close full auto weapons.
