M51 in a Canon 300mm F/4L - Cloudy Nights
2015年5月25日 · I really didn’t even intend to image an object… just wanted to test a newly acquired 300mm F/4L that I picked up on e-bay for cheap (broken autofocus). The lens looked very good to me and the clouds stayed away so decided to see how M51 would look. Details: Mount: Ioptron SmartEQ Pro Lens: Canon 300mm F/4L (non IS)

2013年4月3日 · I still regard myself as a relative beginner to astrophotography. Maybe more intermediate now, but I managed to grab this shot of M51 last night from heavily LP'd Blackpool. I'm very pleased with the detail I got, but the image has a lot of mysterious marks which run top to bottom on an angle.
