When inserted in an M6 mine, a pressure of 300 to 400 pounds is required to overcome the resistance of the Belleville spring. The pressure is applied on the pressure plate, it is transmitted to the piston head. As the resistance of the spring is overcome, the compression sleeve is crushed, and the piston moves down to crush the vial of chemical.

2013年2月7日 · This is where I am confused, my online research shows the M12 as being the practice mine for an M15 which is a completely different shape and size, I've come to the conclusion that the M12 are possibly reconstituted M6's that are used purely for mine laying practice, can anyone shed any further light on this.
