2012年12月10日 · I just picked up a MEP-804A generator from Ft Bragg this week. It was in a group of 4 that went off with the highest hours 113 and the lowest 46. These are 3 phase only 120/208V 52 amps or 240/416V 26 amps @ 60 Hz up to 15 kW. I went and looked at all 4 before the auction. One had a broken main switch as the only visible problem with the rest OK.

2019年8月7日 · The 804a has the Isuzu with a mechanical main fuel pump. I have both and think my 804b is more reliable than the 804a. I have never had a problem with the 804b and it will handle the starting of a FDECU-5 (5 ton heat pump/ac) better than the a model, which tends to show a short circuit light under the same conditions.

2022年1月13日 · I have several FDECU-5 heat pumps ( Field deployable environmental control units) that I run from my MEP-804a&b gensets. It is a 5 ton heatpump needing 60 amps per phase at 208v Three phase 60 hz. It will show a short about 75% of the time due to the huge inrush of current on the 804a The 804b will work 95% of the time.

2018年10月21日 · I just got a Libby MEP-804A from auction and followed all instructions to adequately use it. It turns on and everything looks fine for the first time. All the dials and clocks were apparently working fine. We tested the convenience outlet and had power.

2019年9月18日 · I also checked resistance on the R1, without disconnecting anything. Checked across 2 outside connections. Middle connector is wired to one outside connector. Just like in the picture at 76.121.108.2 › D 15kw MEP-804A and B TQG It reads 1.6 k ohms (dialed all the way down) to 1.9 k ohms (dialed all the way up) 1.9 k ohms at mid-point on dial.

2017年6月29日 · I have been searching on liberated manuals but when I search for "MEP-804a" about 300 manuals come up. I am also hate when I download one, then spend time finding the troubleshooting section for it to tell me 'go to next level manual'.
