2021年5月26日 · But I confirm that on 80, 40, 30, 20, 17, 15, 12 m its SWR in my setup is less than 2. I'm on the air only 3 months (since March 8 2021 and already worked 56 countries on 6 continents. Antenna definitely cost it's price. Now I'm planning to buy another end fed from MFJ (only high power one) and to put it at the right angle to the first antenna.

2021年5月26日 · I’ve been using a Chameleon Emcomm 2 which is an end fed without external tuner, it has a 5:1 matchbox with an 80 feet wire and a 60 feet counter poise running to the opposite way from where the radiating wire is going.

2021年5月26日 · Great job on the video and it look like you were in Orlando Florida! But for my EF Dipoles are usually mounting the box up as high as possible and it slopes down and I’m curious if I’m doing it wrong that I have palm trees in the back of my yard and I run the coax up about 40 feet to the box and then slopes down toward the lake.

2017年9月2日 · I have compared EFHW-8010 (which looks very similar to MFJ) versus full size inverted V wire dipoles (all antennas had their top 14 m off the ground) on 80/40/30/20 m with a WSPRlite beacon. Results were quite interesting: similar on 80 m, slightly lower on 40 & 30 m, rather poor on 20 m.

2021年11月2日 · Digital modes less than that. Whenever you purchase any end fed antenna... buy the biggest cores you can get. If you overheat the Cores... your SWR will go High and possibly damage your radio. I sell all the versions. Anything MFJ, buy the highest rated version you can afford or buy another brand with multiple cores. Just my 2 cents.

2020年5月13日 · Hello all! put together a quick video on the MFJ-1982MP (300 watts) 132 foot end fed antenna as well as a 34 foot carbon fiber mast I picked up from GigaParts. I had the antenna in an inverted V configuration, and was very pleased with its performance. The best part was making a contact on 10m.
