2017年4月17日 · I have a 1980 MGB that had a Weber 32/36 DGV when I got it. I was doing some work on it and wanted to make sure the carb was set properly. I have followed the directions on the redline/weber website and I am not sure I am correct. I started with a warm engine and set the idle and mix screws as they should be according to the instructions.

Occasionally you find a Weber two barrel downdraft carburetor on a matching intake manifold on an MGA or MGB (and other vintage British cars). 2016年2月2日 · The DGV, being a downdraught, usually sits on a Cannon manifold and the issue comes due to raw fuel pooling directly under the carb after a shutdown. The condition is exacerbated as fuel in the bowl expands and seeps down into the manifold.

When installed on an MGB, DGVs are notorious for an off-idle "stumble" or "dead spot" and a slight hesitation when accelerating quickly. The first is caused by the progression, or off-idle circuit, giving up before the main venturi starts to supply fuel.
