The MGV-176 is a submachine gun chambered for the .22 Long Rifle cartridge. It is a modernized version of the American-180. It was manufactured in Yugoslavia by Gorenje from Velenje until 1979. Production continued in Slovenia where it is apparently still manufactured by Orbis.

The Avtomat kal. 22 HV MGV-176[1] was an Yugoslav (later Slovenian) submachine gun produced by Gorenje Sovd from either 1950 or 1980 with production having ended at an unknown date. Essentially a modernized American-180 submachine gun, the MGV-176 is essentially a very similar weapon but with notable improvements.
