2020年5月17日 · MKT 143 stayed on the roster up to the merger with the UP. By 1990, it was sold to the new shortline the South East Kansas Railroad. It retained its number and became SEK 143. In 2000, the SEK was merged with another Watco shortline, the South Kansas and Oklahoma (SKOL), but 143 has retained its paint and SEK markings to this date.

2016年5月16日 · MKT 143 was sold to Watco, Inc., on 12 April 1989, lettered for South East Kansas Railroad. MKT 146 was sold for scrap to Southwest Railroad Car Parts, on 26 June 1989. MKT 152 was sold for scrap to Southern Scrap, in February 1989.
