2025年1月26日 · MP-5 are my favorite looking Mizuno iron in the last 10 years. I recently picked up a set just for fun, and for what they are, I hit them fine and they feel incredible of course. Not my daily driver (PING i230) but more so this set is like the sports car that you keep covered in the garage most of the year and take out for a cruise on a nice day.

2023年10月12日 · Also have a set of 921 Tours (essentially blades but technically CB's) and they are smaller in size than the MP-5's. MP5's are really fairly easy to hit. I don't think you can go wrong really...only thing that is a tad disappointing with them is the 9 and PW have an odd shape but it's easy enough to overlook for the beauty of the rest of the set.

2020年1月30日 · The MP-5's are a bit of an outlier in the Mizuno lineup. I played them for two seasons, and tried the MP-18, but I didn't get along with the thinner sole. The MP-4 was closer to the newer MP musclebacks. If you like the thicker sole of the 5, you may not get along with the 20. I'd suggest hitting the Srixon irons before making a final decision.

2016年8月21日 · Was in my local golf store today and had a look at the MP 5s to see how they compared to my MP15s. I am thinking about ordering a few for a combo set, but when had a look at them, they seems way bigger and bulkier than I expected. i didn't have my 15's with me but it seems like they are basically the same size with the same topline thickness.

2017年2月1日 · Also, the Project X 6.5 is a lot of shaft for amateurs. They're 5 grams less than the stock S300s that come with MP-5s but the PX is noticeably stiffer. The Z765s are smooth and offer more forgiveness than the 5s, but I'd suggest swinging some different shaft options before pulling the trigger on a new set.

The pictures are impressive, but in the flesh the MP-5 is just absolutely gorgeous. It's a unique design in the world of blades and it is certainly eye catching in person.

2015年10月19日 · Refurbish the 33's, sell the 712's and use that money to buy a set of MP 4's then play both sets equally whilst feeling extremely happy that you have 2 of the best looking and feeling sets of irons out there.
