The PRR MP70, also known informally as the "double-deckers", was a class of electric multiple units manufactured by the Pennsylvania Railroad for use on the Long Island Rail Road (LIRR). The Pennsylvania Railroad manufactured three prototypes in the 1930s and a full fleet of sixty cars in 1947–1949.

A train of double-deckers and Pullman-Standard cars laid up south of Jamaica station and west of HALL Tower (seen in the background). The last car is an MP70A and in the Tichy paint scheme and was probably taken in 1956 or 1957.

Three cars transported train crews and other railroad employees from Washington, D.C.'s Union Station to the Ivy City yards in the blue and white scheme of the Washington Terminal. The MU coaches were assigned to commuter service along both the Keystone Corridor on the Main Line and the Northeast Corridor .

Built in 1937, MP70 1347, originally a four-motor double-decker intended to operate as a "married pair" with CT70 201 (see photo below). This unit was the only double-decker with four motors and apparently was not given ASC in 1951, becoming a MP70T motor trailer.
