2024年4月20日 · Rail Travel Information System (RATIS) Extension screens provide live train service status information. They are installed in selected SMRT-operated MRT station concourses, transfer halls and entrances.

The Kawasaki Heavy Industries & Nippon Sharyo (KNS) C751B was the third generation electric multiple unit rolling stock that operated on the North–South and East–West lines of Singapore's Mass Rapid Transit (MRT) system from early 2000 to September 2024, manufactured by Kawasaki Heavy Industries & Nippon Sharyo (KNS) under Contract 751B.

The Alstom Metropolis C751A is the first generation of communications-based train control (CBTC) electric multiple unit rolling stock in operation on the North East line (NEL) of Singapore's Mass Rapid Transit (MRT) system since 2003. 25 trainsets were purchased for the line.

4 天之前 · Trains were also fitted with a Visual Passenger Information System (VPIS), with ceiling-mounted LED textual displays and LCD screens above the rows of seats. The LCD screens, formerly showing rail travel information and commercials, have since been switched off.

2009年9月4日 · The VPIS is currently turned off or turned on but could only display test messages and the date and time since the new announcement was introduced in early 2008. The VPIS will be replaced with vacuum florescent displays(VFDs) which is part of the SMRT Active Route Map Information System(STARIS).

2025年3月24日 · From 2009 onwards, the SMRT Active Route Map Information System (stylised as STARiS) was progressively installed on all C751B trainsets, consisting of 4 Vacuum Fluorescent Displays (VFD) mounted near the ceiling and 8 active route maps mounted above every door in each car.
