2025年2月15日 · A friend brought me his trusted MS250 and told me it quit running and he was unable to get it to start. Not like I'm an expert, but he knows I've fixed 2-strokes in the past. I found it did not make spark, so installed a new Amazon coil. After this it …
MS250 vs. MS251: Verdict?? | Arborist, Chainsaw & Tree Work Forum
2015年8月28日 · I will be buying a MS250 or MS251 for my workplace, occasional use "loaner" saw. Loaner means that when it gets wrecked by students/faculty, I will be glad I didn't give them "my" 260's or 362. 250 is $240 and 251 is $260 with educational discount. I'm old school and know the 250 is good for...

Ms250 vs 028WB - Arborist, Chainsaw & Tree Work Forum
2011年4月23日 · The 028 is a pro quality saw with split cases. The 025/MS250 is moderate duty design featuring clamshell construction. For occasional use either is fine. For serious firewood gathering the 028 is a more durable saw, but weighs a bit more than the MS250. I enjoy running my 028 and until my 550XP came along it was my grab it first saw.
Stihl MS-250 & "Bang per Buck" saws - Arborist, Chainsaw & Tree …
2004年4月9日 · Here's a question: is the homeowner-grade MS250 substantially crappier than the "mid-grade" MS290..? Both seem to share the lots-o-plastic design. At least the MS250 isn't 13 pounds or whatever the Farm Boss is.
MS250 - 14-14.5K Max RPM? - Arborist, Chainsaw & Tree Work …
2019年1月15日 · Good point about the EPA. I took a look at the specs for the 025, the MS250 predecessor. It is spec'd for 13K max. Although they did have a bunch of fixed "H" jet carbs in the herd. They weren't all adjustable line the popular WT-215.
What do you guys think of the Stihl MS 250? - Arborist, Chainsaw …
2022年2月2日 · Depends on what you consider a 'big' tree. I know guys that think 22" is a BIG tree and they rarely mess with stuff over 18" and mostly hang out in the 12-16" range for firewood. For that kind of stuff it would work fine. If you're interested in 30"+ on a regular basis, the MS250 not enough saw IMO.
Any difference between Stihl MS250 and MS251?
2010年8月29日 · I managed to mega screw up my almost-new MS 250 to the point where it is hardly worth fixing so I am thinking I maybe should flog it on the net for parts and buy a new MS 251. Are there any differences between the MS250 and the MS251 that I should know about before deciding which way to go?
best ms 250 carb? - Arborist, Chainsaw & Tree Work Forum
2019年4月26日 · Zama C1Q-S76 is most common carburetor used on MS250 and newest models use C1Q-S242. S76 limiter cap on H screw can be easily adjusted with carburetor off. S242 has limiters on H and L screws. Walbro WT-215 is very good and was used on prior 021/023/025 models. WT-215 is fully adjustable but adjusting screws are right next to each other versus Zama 076/242 carburetors screws are 1/2 inch apart ...
MS250 vs MS261..not the kind of thread you think
2019年10月1日 · Kind of a rhetorical thread title... the ms261 flat out destroys the ms250 in every aspect straight out of the box performance wise, stronger construction, more power, probably better subcomponents, has the "pro" saw title, everyone is of the opinion it is a better saw...NO matter what, BUY IT...
