2024年11月30日 · I’ll have to check if the MSAR receiver will fit the AUG stock. I know the AUG receiver fits into the E4 stock, but haven’t tried it the other way around. I’m told there are some minor differences between AUg/MSAR takedown levers in the stocks that may be problematic. Barrels will NOT swap with the AUG. The locking lugs are different.

2011年11月14日 · MSAR is "cool" not bad on weight, but the mag change is a lil bit of a pain and trigger its ugly. Havent shot one with the trigger updated but Im sure it would be better. Also his seemed to like the 69smk's best out of everything we tried.

2024年10月3日 · In some ways, I think the MSAR E4 is better than the AUG. The fluted barrel. Chrome lined, lighter, stiffer, and more surface area for heat dissipation. I wish Steyr would do this. I also like the MSAR stock a bit better than the Steyr. It essentially combines the Steyr standard and NATO stock.

2008年3月10日 · The MSAR trigger texture is a series of 90 degree cut lines sloping down each side of the trigger, with a prominent point running down the middle. That point is a little sharp compared to the AUG. I'm going to take a dremel to mine to smooth down that sharp line.

2008年10月10日 · MSAR mags have a little spot on the side reinforcing relieved so that they would only mate with their stocks with corresponding ribs in the magwell. You can see the difference in magwells from my pics. You can modify your older MSAR stock to accept AUG mags in a few minutes with an emery board or small file. Steyr on the left, MSAR on the right.

2012年10月21日 · Re: Msar xm-17 e4 MSAR has spooled back up and are making these things currently. We are a dealer for em and have sold a few of em lately. Haven't shot one but I've handled em in the store. They seem like a solid rifle. We sold one in a few hours last week on Gunbroker when the madness began.

2012年6月1日 · Run MSAR mags in the MSAR, and AUG mags in an AUG. About 85% of the time you get lukcy and the mags will run in the oppostie gun, but due to very subtle differences in the molding shape about 15% of the time peple have had feeding or bolt hold open issues.

2019年4月18日 · MSAR made a lot of good guns they also made a lot of turds. Early on they had an awesome CS team to handle turds and make things right. Then that went away then they ceased to exist that’s why people recommend against them generally now.
