I made every effort to keep the wire runs separate, the MSD box output wires are 5-6" away from the white trigger wire in most places, the red "12V on" signal wire is separate, the 12V power and ground are connected to the battery and block respectivly. :thumbup1: The engine runs like a CHAMP until about 4K RPM.

2009年9月4日 · Recently I have installed an MSD 6AL-2 w/Ford Adapter Harness. Since the install, my vehicle will misfire at seemingly random times. Somedays I can drive around and not experience any misfires. Others, I will be cruising around keeping a steady rpm (1600 on the highway for example), and experience a momentary buck and power loss.

I installed an MSD 6AL, Blaster 2 coil, 8360 distributor, 8910 tach adapter (I use the white trigger wire) and 8.5 mm wires (all MSD). Prior to installing the MSD set up I had an Accel electronic distributor with the Blaster 2 coil and everything worked fine. I started the change-over by adding the 6AL and that's when the problems started.
