2020年9月3日 · I've also got a Z490 Godlike but with only 16GB (2x8GB) running fine at 3200 MHz. With the Z490, I had better performance working on overclocking the CPU itself and it's caches than using a higher performing memory. Also, I can say that I do love the Trident Z RGB memory. They work very well with Intel systems, generally speaking.

I'm looking at the MSI MPG Z490 Carbon EK X. I was wondering how many others were having issues with the MEG Z490 Godlike. When I ordered I did not see many ppl posting about issues.

2020年11月22日 · I just put together a system with the MSI Unity z490 Mobo and an intel Core i7-10700k. After installing everything, boot led to a black screen. There is power but the EZ debug shows a light under the CPU label. I have re-seated the CPU and tried again. Same. I checked all cables and connections. Should be fine too.

2019年3月7日 · All Z490 boards do in fact support the 11th generation CPU's, however, they may need a bios update in order to work properly. This was also true back with the Z370 series and the 8th generation CPU's, where once the 9th generation Intel CPU's came out, the Z370 boards supported them, however it required a bios update in order to work.

2016年10月12日 · Note that there is no risk of this with BIOS updates for MSI mainboards using other chipsets (like Z390, B460, Z590, B560, Z690, B660, X470, B450, X570, B550, and so on). This can only happen on MSI Z490 boards. People with other boards can update normally.
