2023年6月15日 · A good charlatan can practice rolling a d20 the same way on a surface learning exactly how to get it to land. Missing a 20 on a d20 by just a bit results in a 2 or 3. Missing a 20 on a spindown by the same amount hits a 19 or 18. So a motivated cheater CAN learn to always hit high on a spindown.

2021年5月3日 · Is there a reference site for the spindown dice? I know some sets like the Ravnica ones and others with guild colors have certain combos available and I'm trying to complete my sets. For example, Guilds of Ravnica had 5, Ravnica Allegience had 5 - both these sets had spindowns with the guilds logo.

2023年10月20日 · Sirius Dice recently received a license to produce specialty dice for Magic and WotC, with a Black Lotus in resin Spindown being the first Magic item. It will be rather large at 54 mm (about 2.1 inches) in size, while bundle spindowns are 27 mm in size. The cost from online vendors can be as low $42ish, with a listed MSRP of $60.

Final Edit: I get it now. It seems like it increases the chances of failure or success depending on how the Spindown rolls. Where’s as on a d20 it could roll one way and be a failure or a success, but on a Spindown it could roll either way and still be a failure or a success. Thanks for your help and understanding!

2023年6月29日 · Amonkhet, Hour of Devestation also had that with their translucent dice but kind of killed the scarcity since they ONLY had that die. These new sets are doing this thing where there is a special spindown in every 10 prerelease kits, so rarity already starts at a high. Of course, the older the set, the harder it is to find.
