MTSU Rugby club was founded in 1980 and the first organized faction of the ‘old boys’ began in 1985. For over 28 years we’ve maintained a strong and tight-knit group of alumni who support MTSU Rugby’s program.

We are the Middle Tennessee State University Rugby Football team. We compete in men's Division I Rugby. We play other schools all over the country as well as locally. We have a long history of winning championships and producing national quality rugby players. Rugby is fast paced and exciting contact sport.

If rugby sounds like a sport for you, simply come out to practice. ABSOLUTELY NO EXPERIENCE NECESSARY. Everyone will be given the opportunity to play. It is a sport that will challenge you physically and mentally and develop you into a TEAM PLAYER. Play rugby and compete at the National level for MTSU.
