The Mega Man ZX series, known as Rockman ZX (ロックマンZX Rokkuman Zekusu) in Japan, made its debut in 2006 on the Nintendo DS. It is set over 200 years after the events of the Mega Man Zero series, and focuses on individuals called "Mega Men" who can transform into armored warriors using Biometal.

Part of the Mega Man franchise, ZX is set two hundred years after the events of the Mega Man Zero series, and revolves around the efforts of the protagonist to recover powerful ancient artifacts called "Biometals" from the Pseudoroids, evil robots made to harness their power.
