2006年5月10日 · It was on the Mauser M18. Looks like an awesome little rifle, and he had nothing but good things to speak about it. I am very familiar with Mauser actions, and got to thinking that this rifle would make a great build platform. The Mauser action is robust, and one of the greatest designs ever in a bolt gun. I love the 3 lug design.

2021年1月16日 · Other than a few cosmetic changes the Mauser M18 is the same rifle as the Sauer 100. If you search the forum for Sauer 100 you will find several threads on how they shoot. One member, Jon Bischof has achieved great accuracy with his 6.5CM and a 30-06 Sauer 100.

2011年11月9日 · Other than a few minor cosmetic differences the Mauser M18 and the Sauer 100 are the same rifle. Sauer, Mauser and Blaser barrels are all made in the same factory and they tend to be very accurate. Unlike the Mauser 12 and Sauer 101 the barrels on the M18 and 100 can be replaced.

2020年12月16日 · Mauser mag allows about 3.02" in mag but looks like mag has easily a quarter inch that can be removed from rear and bolt face would still be about a quarter inch behind mag. The trigger is mostly plastic with what looks like a sear engagement screw that is glued in place.

2023年12月29日 · Hello - A few years back, I bought a brand new, Mauser M18, in .308 as a practice rifle because it was inexpensive. Yesterday I put the 300th round through it and the extractor/ejector on the bolt broke. I was using Federal Gold Match, so decent ammo. Anyhow... I am pretty good at finding what I need online.

2008年12月11日 · Just pulled the barrel on my M18. Had to machine special bushings for the action wrench and barrel vise. Needed heat a few times due to an excessive amount of locktite between the barrel and action. Can thread the barrel now for a supressor. If anybody needs dimensions from the barrel or action now’s the time!
